Health Care Investment Visions
About Us

Health Care Investment Visions® was founded in 1996 by seasoned, multi-decade veterans of the health care information technology industry whose experience was gained in the often unpredictable health care and technology markets. Originally focused on serving venture funds during the heady late 1990s, the firm evolved into a business and product consultancy for health care information technology innovators. Over time, this practice grew to include merger and acquisition services, interim management capabilities, and transaction management—all powered by leading market research services. Today, this evolution continues as we couple our past success with proven stewardship skills and access to financing partners.

Defining Principles

We work side by side with our corporate and individual venture entrepreneurs, helping to set the course, enabling them to leverage their strengths and produce sustainable results.

Using an adaptive method with structured criteria, we identify venture risks in the market with regard to product, technology, revenue model and economics, achievability, exit strategy, and investor reward. We then structure a context-sensitive pathway to manage these risks while driving innovation into the market. Finally, we implement a self-corrective governance process that is appropriate to the life cycle of the venture, and provide new pathways as the innovation evolves. Working closely with corporate and individual entrepreneurs, we drive the information technology innovation and venture to achieve full potential.
